Based in the Hunter Valley, not far from Sydney, Allanmere craft a variety of red wines, but remain better known for their whites, from crisp Verdelho to a balanced, Chassagne-like Chardonnay. Not big wines but effortlessly crafted using indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. The wines show superb concentration for their relatively modest alcohol levels.
