With wines that express the essence of Barsac in their lemony, honeyed sweetness, Coutet continue to push Climens for the right to be considered the region's finest. In years where the conditions do not allow for the production of a great Sauternes, a large proportion of the grapes are made into a dry white wine, Le Blanc Sec de Coutet. In great years, a miniscule amount of the legendary Crème de Tete, Cuvée Madame is made, a wine that invites comparison to great vintages of Yquem.
